Best restaurant around for breakfast, lunch & dinner! Hands down best breakfast!!! My family loves all of the choices on the menu! Great place to meet friends & enjoy a great meal. Buffet is always fresh & the wait staff is the best around! ❤️❤️❤️

My husband, Michael Lowery passed, he was a great cook. I've read other misleading articles. He didnt go to chef school, he did start out at dennys as a dishwasher ( bright career) worked his way up to cook. ( remember Michaels Homestyle Restaurant by lake) We're still married, 30 years later. (1990, in Whitesboro) Bubba & Jason would come to our home & stayed wknds. Alice, Buck, Ronnie, Gerald, Linda, I know them all. Little Ronnie Edward..Michael had told me the week before they went to beach, dinner, sat in truck, that he was having a test done that was very painful. Why would he go out of town, eat, sit in his pickup ( at the beach btw) & die? He didnt want to be cremated. P.S. being his legal wife, we will see. The good deeds this place does for Thanksgiving is amazing thank y’all for making sure my family had Thanksgiving on this stressful year I wouldn’t trade any small town restaurant for another love Pops Place. Well most of the food is really good but the lady can't take a suggestion as in one time the chicken pot pie was salty she said oh no there not at a later date they weren't and I commented they are GREAT not too salty then later on the mashed potatoes they are ALWAYS Gummy she says we do that so the potatoes will stand up. what ever the hell that means I ask her. They don't taste good . Try the potatoes at the Longhorn in Bowie Texas now they are GREAT . people rant and rave about there potatoes ( potatoes are cheap I think )

Disappointed. Thought it would've been better than it was. Not bad at all, just not what I expected from a small country kitchen.

I went for the first time the other night. I ordered the pot roast with mashed potatoes and green beans. The roast beef was cold and the gravy was warm. Almost like the were using the gravy to warm up the pot roast. I sent it back and got a new plate. It was the same. I am very disappointed. The didn't even offer a discount when it was clear I didn't take more than a bit from either plate. I will not be going back.

Really loved this place! Felt like Grandma's home cooking! Best biscuits, eggs, and bacon. I even got a big tall glass of cold milk. The staff was very friendly and courteous too. They were very crowded and we had to wait a while for a seat. Also, the menu options were pretty minimal, but great at the same time. I now know why people drive so far and wait to go to this place. This is probably also why they win Best of Texoma!

Great food, great prices, great family environment

Staff was friendly, atmosphere fun and inviting. We had the seafood buffet and everything tasted great! Delicious catfish and nice golden popcorn shrimp.

I frequently visit Pop's place in Denison and so I decided to give the other the location a shot. Usually not as crowded so that's a plus. However, I find that the food is a little less reliable than the main store. Servers are friendly and do a good job.

Oh my gosh! The food is so awesome and the folks so friendly. Well prepared, fresh from the kitchen. We usually order off the menu and share a plate but the have also eaten the buffet and who would have thunk it? The buffet is just as fresh as the menu orders! That is absolutely the first time I have ever had fresh, fresh, fresh buffet food. All I can say is WOW, WOW, WOW. You go ZaVonna and Pop!!!!!

This a nice little country style place. They do not have a whole lot of seating. We had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. We ate off of the buffet. The food was pretty good. On Fridays they have a seafood buffet. They price was not bad and the waitress's were nice and polite.

Craving some home style cooking? Well, look no further! Pop's has some seriously delicious food including chicken fried steaks, hamburgers, and even their salads are great! There is menu dining on Saturday but, I believe, there's a buffet the rest of the week (we went on a Saturday).Friendly staff and the service was great. Excellent value.. oh, and credit cards are accepted, too.
